1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for ISRS membership, conferences, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not complete registration.

2. Conference Registration

2.1 Registration Requirements

All conference attendees must complete registration and provide accurate information. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

2.2 Payment

All fees are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payment is processed through our secure payment partner, Zeffy. ISRS does not store credit card information.

2.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • More than 60 days before conference: Full refund minus $50 administrative fee
  • 30-60 days before conference: 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days before conference: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers.

2.4 Substitutions

Registration may be transferred to another person from the same organization up to 14 days before the conference at no additional charge. After that date, a $50 administrative fee applies.

3. Membership

3.1 Membership Types and Duration

  • Regular Membership: $50/year, renewable annually
  • Student Membership: $25/year, requires valid student ID verification
  • Lifetime Membership: $1,000, permanent membership
  • Corporate Membership: $500/year, includes up to 5 individual memberships

3.2 Membership Benefits

Members receive discounted conference rates, access to members-only resources, voting rights, and our monthly newsletter.

3.3 Membership Cancellation

Membership fees are non-refundable. You may cancel automatic renewal at any time, but paid membership will remain active until the expiration date.

4. Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers must follow our Code of Conduct:

  • Treat all participants with respect and courtesy
  • No harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Maintain professional behavior
  • No unauthorized recording of presentations

Violations may result in removal from the conference without refund and potential ban from future events.

5. Photography and Recording

By attending ISRS events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify event staff.

6. Liability Waiver

Participants attend at their own risk. ISRS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ISRS from any claims arising from your participation.

7. Force Majeure

ISRS is not responsible for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, or government action. In such cases, ISRS may cancel, postpone, or modify the event. Refund policies will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Conference Materials

All conference presentations, materials, and content are protected by copyright. Recording, reproducing, or distributing materials without explicit permission is prohibited.

8.2 Abstract Submissions

By submitting an abstract, you grant ISRS permission to publish it in conference materials and proceedings. You retain copyright to your work.

9. Data Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information to third parties.

10. Emergency Contact Information

By providing emergency contact information, you authorize ISRS to contact that person in case of medical emergency or urgent situation during the conference.

11. Changes to Terms

ISRS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
